The Doctors of Sutton Animal Hospital understand the strong human-animal bond and aim to deliver the highest customer service while providing tailored veterinary care for your pet.

The Doctors of Sutton Animal Hospital believe that preventative medicine is the foundation for healthy and happy pets. We recommend that your canine and feline family members have a physical exam every 6 months. Pets age faster than humans and their health status can change rapidly. When disease processes are caught early, there is a better chance for treatment efficacy. During his or her appointment, the doctor will review your pet's health history and examine your pet from nose to tail.

Our wellness exams include:

  • Routine Heart and Lung Evaluation
  • Ear and Eye Examination
  • Dental Evaluation
  • Neurologic Evaluation
  • Abdominal Organ Evaluation
  • Musculoskeletal Evaluation
  • Coat and Skin Analysis
  • Weight Assessment and Nutritional Counseling
  • Heartworm and Tick borne disease testing
  • Parasite Testing
  • Vaccinations or titer testing as needed.

Vaccinations are an essential part of your pet's health.  We, at Sutton Animal Hospital strongly believe in immunizing pets starting as puppies and kittens and continuing throughout life.  We tailor our vaccine protocol to your pet's specific needs and exposure risk. When possible, we will do blood titers to see if your pet has adequate immunity against certain diseases. If your pet's blood antibody level is adequate, we may not need to vaccinate.

Immunizations can help prevent various diseases, which can affect multiple organ systems of the body. We feel the benefits of vaccinations outweigh the the potential rare side effects. Keeping your pet up to date on their vaccines can help your canine or feline family member live a longer, healthier life.
